7 Wonders Score Sheet

Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026

In short: 7 Wonders Score Sheet does not collect, send or share any personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device. The app has no internet access, no accounts, no ads and no analytics.

About this policy

This is the privacy policy for the Android app 7 Wonders Score Sheet (package name com.aceanuu.swss), published on Google Play by Chris Renke ("I", "me"), who is also the contact for privacy questions (see Contact below). It explains what the app does with information and what choices you have. It applies only to this app.

The app is an unofficial companion for the board game 7 Wonders. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the game's publisher.

What the app stores on your device

To score games and show your stats, the app keeps the following in its private storage on your device:

  • The games you score: the date and time, the players, the Wonder boards and sides, and every score you enter.
  • Player names. These are whatever you type, which may be the real names of friends and family. They stay on your device.
  • Your settings, such as the game edition, enabled expansions, theme and category order.
  • Backup copies of your stats that the app makes automatically before you import a file, so an import can be undone.
  • Pictures of results that you create with Share or Save Image.

What I collect

Nothing. I run no servers for this app, and it has no accounts or sign-in. It contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software, and no third-party software that collects data. It does not use the Android advertising ID or the App Set ID, and it does not read device identifiers such as the IMEI or serial number. The app does not ask for permission to use the internet, so it cannot send information over a network by itself. I never receive your games, your players or your scores, I do not sell any information, and nothing is transferred to other countries because nothing leaves your device through the app.

One thing happens outside the app: if you have chosen to share usage and diagnostics data with Google on your device, Google Play may collect crash and performance reports from it and show me totals in the Play Console. Those reports are produced by Google under its own privacy policy, and they never contain your games, players or scores.

The types of data Google Play asks about

Google Play groups data into the categories below. For each one, this is what 7 Wonders Score Sheet does:

Type of dataCollected or shared by me
Personal information (name, email address, user IDs, address, phone number)No
Financial or payment informationNo
Health and fitness informationNo
LocationNo
Messages, contacts, calendarNo
Photos, videos, audio, filesNo
App activity, web browsingNo
App information and performance (crash logs, diagnostics)No
Device or other identifiersNo

Names and scores you type into the app are stored on your device only, as described above. A file you export or an image you share is a copy you make on purpose and send to a place you pick; I do not receive it.

When you share or export

Some actions hand information to another app or to a place you pick. They happen only when you choose them:

  • Share: sends a results image to the app you pick in Android's share sheet, such as a messaging app.
  • Save Image: saves a results image to your gallery, in a Pictures album.
  • Export Stats: writes a file with your games, players and scores to the location you choose in Android's file picker.
  • Import Stats: reads a file you select in the file picker.

Once a picture or file leaves the app, it is in the hands of the app or storage you chose, and that service's own privacy policy applies. I do not see or receive it.

Permissions and sensors

  • Vibration: used only for haptic feedback when you use the app.
  • Storage on Android 9 and earlier: older versions of Android need this permission to save an image to your Pictures folder. Newer versions do not ask for it.
  • Motion sensor: if you leave the optional metallic shimmer effect on, the app reads your device's orientation to move the shine across the screen. The readings are used on the spot, are never stored or sent anywhere, and need no permission.

The app asks for no other permissions. It does not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files except as described above.

Backups made by Android

If device backup is turned on, Android may copy the app's data (your games, players and settings) to your Google Account and restore it when you set up a new device. That is done by Android and Google under Google's Privacy Policy and your device settings. I have no access to it. You can manage it in your device's backup settings.

Security

The app's data lives in its private storage, which Android protects from other apps. The app does not add its own encryption on top, so a screen lock on your device is the best protection for it. The app does not transmit your data anywhere, so there is nothing to encrypt in transit. Files and pictures you export or share are as private as the place you put them.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device until you remove it. You can delete games and players inside the app, clear the app's storage in Android's settings, or uninstall the app, which removes its data. Copies you exported or shared stay where you saved or sent them, and Android backups follow your Google backup settings. The app has no accounts, so there is no account to delete and nothing for me to remove on a server.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. It collects no information at all.

Your rights

Because I do not collect or hold any personal information from this app, there is nothing on my side to access, correct, transfer or delete. The data is on your device and under your control. This applies wherever you live, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and California: I do not sell or share personal information, and I do not act as a controller of personal data from this app.

Changes to this policy

The app links to this page from its Settings screen. If I change this policy, I will post the new version at this address and update the effective date above. If a future version of the app ever collected information, this policy and the app's Google Play data disclosures would be updated before that version was released.
